Students and Early Career Professionals

The H5II conference will provide students and early career professionals one of the most intensive opportunities to collaborate with professionals in the research and management fields who work with high elevation ecosystems. We hope you will participate in the activities specifically designed to bring students and developing professionals together. We will provide ample opportunities to network with your peers and with potential career mentors as well as informal roundtable discussions. We ask that you register for the conference, monitor the program schedule, and check back for more details. Be sure to take advantage of the lower student registration rate if you are enrolled in an academic program. We are looking forward to seeing you (virtually) at the conference.

The following are some of the collaborative activities we have for you at H5II.

Stop in at the “Student Lounge,” a networking room to chat (visual/audio) with other students and friends. At each break, a host student from the University of Colorado, Denver will throw out a few trivia questions with a final award for best answers and share in other discussions.

Join the Roundtable on Wednesday at 3:30. At this informal gathering, we will have focused discussions with experts in Federal hiring, and tips on getting published. Check out the program for details and speakers. Be sure to take advantage of the lower student registration rate if you are enrolled in an academic program. We are looking forward to seeing (virtually) you at the conference.
